I will hold...
My head up high
I'm a Gryffindor
And you won't need to save me anymore
-- Switchblade Kittens, "Ode To Harry Potter"
"It's a free country! Everyone should be able to eat frickin' cereal if they so choose! What makes them think they can stop the poor rabbit from eating his cereal? 'Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids?' Fuck that, anyone can eat Trix if they feel like it. Damn kids."
Yep, I actually said that. I'm on a sugar high, or so it seems - I'll talk to anyone who'll stay still long enough.
I just got back from Walmart. I got some cute white ankle-socks, a watch, and Goblet of Fire on paperback. Yay! No more crunching noises when I bend the hardcover back too much! Plus I think I got a food stain on my hardcover at some point. Ah, such is life. Especially when you tend to read during meals, as I do.
I watched the second Harry Potter CoS trailer. Lucius Malfoy is DEAD SEXY. I kid you not. He has elf-hair! I love elf-hair! Harry and Draco's voices are so much deeper! They're so much hotter and beefier and whatnot, too. (hee! beefier!) And the snow, and the carriages, dammit. The carriages. I was really disappointed by the howler though. I thought it'd be so high-pitched that you couldn't even make out the words. Dayamn. Yep, it's my god-given duty to force everyone I know to watch the first movie on DVD. I've only failed with two people, one of which has a moderately acceptable excuse (*coughcough* Jim, who won't just 'cause I turned into a psycho because of ickle Danny, so he refuses to watch it. Meh.) And an r/l friend, who is just a frickin' moron and wants to rebel against whatever is popular.
WAIT!
Oh my god, I was looking through older entries, and read this:
Harry Potter. UGH! What the fluck do people like about him/it? The books are *deathly* dull ... I don't like british people. There are some exceptions, though.
Say it with me: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Can you believe I said that? And I'm now the biggest Harry Potter geek you'll ever meet. I can't believe it. That was from my November 24th entry. Man, can you believe that? I can't believe that. Words fail me.
Why is Ani Difranco the "in" thing right now? Everyone likes her. I'm skeptical as of now, but knowing me, I'll probably like her. I hope not, 'cause I want to be all heavy metal-ish.
I like the two dorkiest things among my friends. Harry Potter and Britney Spears. I don't get it, is there something that attracts me to things that all my friends find lame? It's odd. Maybe I like being geeky-cool. It's the way to be, I say.
I received the Dan tape I ordered from a chick that owns a fellow Dan fansite. It's three hours of Harry Potter goodness. JK Rowling: Behind the Magic, the cast of HP on Rosie O'Donnell, on the early show, on Regis and Kelly, on some Katie Couric special, and a few other show appearances. I felt sorry for Daniel after watching it. He kept swallowing while talking, as though his throat was dry, and stuttering, and pausing, and just looked so pathetically nervous. Whereas Emma Watson rattled off comments like some crazy machine. Good times. :P
I lost 2 pounds. My treadmill has been completely dead, and I've hardly worked out at all in the past three weeks, but I lost two pounds. Dude, I should patent the 'Eat all the junk food your fat little heart desires, but have tons of fruit and water and you'll lose weight!' diet. I'll make millions, dammit.
I've been reading I'm Not A Wizard, Not Yet A Muggle. It's frickin' hilarious! It's what happens when Harry Potter and co. have P.E., Sex Ed., and Britney Spears as a classmate. I love it.
I'm starting to accept not having a functional computer. It frees up my time to do homework, chores, exercise, and go outside and rollerblade. I went out on Tuesday, I think, and I was doing pretty good for only my second time on rollerblades. But I fell on my ass, which sucked. Could have been because the road was at a slant, hee.
Camp Nowhere is on the telly. I love that movie so much. The first time I rented it was when I was in the second grade, and I must have rented it at least 15 times since. Everyone should watch it, even though it's pretty ancient.
Note: I changed my older entries page. Every entry shows up on one bigassed page, because I'm sick of attempting to archive by hand, and since I don't update as often as I did, it doesn't matter anyway. So neener.
Quiz time!

How pathetic! You're a Fake Geek!
You buy t-shirts with slogans, wear glasses with flat lenses, and listen to Weezer. And you didn't like Lord of the Rings? BLASPHEMY! You play the geek card purely to look cool, but you're not a true geek-- just a fashion victim.. with no taste in movies..
