"They wouldn't use the cruciatus curse..."
"On the champions... I thought it sounded a bit like Percy singing... maybe you've got to attack him while he's in the shower, Harry." - George Weasley

HA! I love that quote. Anyway, this entry is the Harry Potter quiz I whored from Lauren a long time ago and forgot to actually put in here.

BASICS

1. name: Crys

2. age: somewhere in my teens.

3. favorite harry potter book: I can't possibly decide. I think I like the first one a little less, but the other ones I love. The second one's so dark, and interesting... I think I read it a little too quickly, though. There's obviously bits I've missed. The third one's really, really good. I love that one, and I love that he has a godfather, that makes his situation a bit better. The dementors were wicked, too. The last one's really long and detailed, and Harry gets turned down... which is good. He's holding out for me. :P Plus the triwizard tournament was so entertaining! I love them all!

THE MOVIE

4. good or awful?: Good, of course. I think it has to be my favorite movie!

5. which was better - book or movie?: Well. *thinks* I liked the book alot since there's alot of detailed and interesting things that the movie left out, and there's other major points in the plot. Plus Fred and George had a bigger part in the book(s) and you *know* we should see more of them. ^_^ But the movie had really cool special effects.. I think I liked being lazy and not having to read. Plus the actors were kinda fun to watch... *grin* I think the movie was better.

6. is sean biggerstaff (oliver wood) hot?: Oh, man. Besides Mr. Potter himself, Oliver is just hot. It's all in the accent, baby. The way he says "Potter" ... mucho nass. He's real easy on the eyes, too. Okay, ALL the HP guys are hot in the movie! Draco, Fred, George, Oliver, Harry (tiss), Ron, even Crabbe and Goyle! Yum!

7. where's the scar REALLY supposed to be?: It was really the book illustrator who decided it should be in the middle, then I guess the movie folks thought it'd be better off to the side. JKR said that it was up to them, that she didn't mind either way. I say the side is much better.

8. favorite actor: Oh, really now. Take a guess. ^.~

9. favorite actress: Emma (Hermione), I s'pose, since she's the only female major player in the movie. But I liked that chick quidditch player (forgot her name) who got knocked off her broom and fell in the sand by the goalposts... or Ginny! But she's not in it enough. Dang.

10. did quidditch rock your socks or not?: Sure, provided I'd actually read the book after I saw the movie, I think that the scene was a pretty good version of it. I loved the end when Harry was holding the snitch in the air, showing off. Hehe.

FAVORITES

11. quote from the first book? "It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live" -- Prof. Dumbledore

12. quote from the second book? Of course, this one's obvious:
"His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad
his hair is as dark as a blackboard
I wish he was mine, he's really divine
the hero who conquered the dark lord." --Ginny's poem about Harry :o)

13. quote from the third book? "You think the dead we have loved ever truly leave us? You think that we don't recall them more clearly than ever in times of great trouble? Your father is alive in you, Harry, and shows himself most plainly when you have need of him." - Prof. Dumbledore

14. quote from the fourth book? "'Myrtle!' Harry said in outrage, 'I'm - I'm not wearing anything!'" ^_^

15. character (not actor!): Augh. I knew they'd spring this on me. In all the books, it's either Peeves, Fred and George, or Hermione. I *am* Hermione, Hermione *is* me. lol.

16. animal: I like Crookshanks, but I'd have to say my favorite is Ferret-Malfoy. Oh, sweet revenge...

17. painting (the fat lady, sir cadogan, etc.): Who's Violet? I don't know who Violet or the Grey Lady are. I liked Sir Cadogan, he was so cute! Offering to make sure everyone got to where they wanted to go! AWW!

18. ghost: Peeves! Peeves is friggin' hilarious! But I like Myrtle... I *am* Myrtle, she kicks ass!

19. evil villain: Umm... well, I s'pose Snape. *giggle* he's not a villain though! Damn! I'll go with Barty Crouch (jr). He was tricky, tricky.

OTHERS

20. how did you *really* pronounce hermione's name in the first 3 books?: Her-my-knee. -_-

21. who's better - crabbe or goyle?: They're both the same. Can you really remember which is which? They even looked the same in the forkin' movie! But Goyle's very sexy. They're both cute.

COMING UP...

22. who's going to play lockhart in the second movie?: Umm... am I supposed to guess, or know? They already picked some dude. Wasn't it the guy from Wild Wild West?

23. are ron and hermione going to get together in the next book?: Hermione's a book-nerd, Ron's a.. well.. cutie with a rat. Even their pets don't get along! But they prolly will get hooked up. It'd be so cute! *gushes*

24. will there be more than 7 books? (harry and the ministry of magic?): Well, the author said no, basically. So no. *shrug*
